Tess of the D'Urbervilles - Set design

Set design is the most interesting part of film production in my opinion. I have always enjoyed watching the behind the scenes of movies to be able to see these vast, detailed sets. Reading Tess of the D'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy, the pastoral genre in the novel with the novel inspired me to create a set inspired by a dairy-farm. I love the attention to detail in the sets and costumes in all the period films. Creating a set from a completely different era really interests me as it conveys elements of history.
